Information You Submit
Search Terms
When you type a name, county, or other search detail into a third-party search tool on this site, that query is sent to the provider that operates the tool. Juab County Inmate Population does not keep a separate local log of those search terms.
Messages
If you email us or send a contact message, we use the information in that message to read and answer it. We do not share those messages outside the organization unless a legal requirement makes disclosure necessary.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, this site may collect technical information when pages load. That information can include:
- IP address.
- Browser type and version.
- Device type and operating system.
- Pages visited and time spent on pages.
- Referring website, if one is available.
- Date and time stamps.
Cookies
Cookies may be used to understand how visitors use the site, maintain basic functionality, and support measurement or advertising. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but some features may behave differently when cookies are disabled.
How Information Is Used
- To keep pages available, stable, and reasonably fast.
- To route search requests to the partner service that powers a search tool.
- To understand which Juab County jail, court, and records pages visitors use.
- To diagnose broken links, display issues, and other technical problems.
- To support advertising that may be based on general interests.
Outside Websites
This site links to sheriff pages, Utah correctional resources, court portals, VINELink, federal locators, and third-party search tools. Once you leave this site, the privacy policy of the destination site controls that visit.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and show interest-based ads. That tracking is handled by those partners, not by Juab County Inmate Population as an official records system.
Limited Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be made available to the following parties when needed:
- Search partners that process submitted search queries.
- Analytics providers that measure site use.
- Advertising networks that serve or measure ads.
- Law enforcement, courts, or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it.
Security
We use ordinary security practices intended to reduce unauthorized access and misuse. No internet-connected website can be promised breach-proof, and this notice does not create a guarantee of absolute security.
Visitors Under 18
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If a minor has submitted information, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
Your Choices and Rights
- You may ask for a copy of personal information we maintain about you.
- You may ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
- You may request deletion where the law allows it.
- You may opt out of certain processing where an opt-out right applies.
Utah's Government Records Access and Management Act, including Utah Code Sections 63G-2-201, 63G-2-204, and 63G-2-305, governs many official records held by Utah public offices. Those laws apply to government records requests, not to this private site's internal privacy practices.

This notice may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with the revised text taking effect when published.
